Doximity’s mission has always been to make healthcare providers’ lives easier. With evolving concerns surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re sharing how we are responding to the global health crisis.

Because of the highly infectious nature of COVID-19, the industry is increasingly turning toward digital solutions. As the largest digital network of US healthcare providers, we at Doximity are evaluating, creating, and expanding any ability we have that can help support HCPs and world at large.

Below are some of our extra efforts to help you in this time of crisis.

Resources for Clinicians:

Free COVID-19 Job Posts to address increased demand
To help facilities manage medical staffing needs, we’re offering free Job Posts for COVID-19-related staffing. All you need to do is fill out the form here. We will distribute your openings to clinicians based on location, specialty, and any other requirements, and we will direct applicants to the contact info you provide.

Free Dialer access expanded to all U.S. healthcare staff
Doximity Dialer allows MDs to call their patients (or any U.S. phone number) from their cell phone, while displaying their office or hospital number on the Caller ID. In a crisis like this, that ability to communicate is even more important. In fact, we’ve seen a 3x increase in Dialer usage so far this week. Knowing how important direct communication is for our members, we are opening up our Dialer functionality to all healthcare professionals who can request access to Dialer at: https://doximity.com/care_team. If you're looking for Step by Step instructions, please go here.

Physician-curated COVID-19 news and peer commentary
Our Editorial team has curated a private COVID-19 newsroom for clinicians to access timely medical updates and recommendations, while privately sharing and discussing new research, treatment, and best practices. We’ll also continue to publish and disseminate Doximity physician perspectives and share direct experience and ideas from the front lines.

Every day, new and evolving information needs to be verified and presented to healthcare professionals on the frontlines as fast as possible. Our team of editors and algorithmic news collectors are compiling and publishing COVID-19 news around the clock on Doximity.

The Doximity Newsfeed has become one of the most trusted digital sources of information for clinicians. Searches related to COVID-19 have increased by 40x vs. last month and we have seen a 19% month over month increase in the number of doctors coming to  Doximity specifically to read news.

Resources for Recruiters:

Free Job Posts for COVID-19 specific jobs
As mentioned above, we are offering free distribution of any open jobs related to the global health crisis completely free of charge. As the COVID-19 pandemic expands across the US, we know there has been an increased demand for short term positions in the healthcare industry and our goal is to help you fill those immediate needs. You can submit your listings here and we’ll notify you when they have been posted.

Additional strategy support
As new laws around telemedicine and state licensure are introduced, our team is always here to strategize with you on effective outreach.

We have also recently introduced new online resources including the ability to schedule calls with recruiters directly from a job post apply, bulk DocMail sending, as well as continued around the clock support from our team of expert Client Success Managers. Our #1 priority is to be here to support your urgent staffing needs during these times.

We also have advice on working from home, curating your DocMail subject lines to get the most engagement, and many more resources that can be found on our website

Communication tool between recruiters and candidates
Now, more than ever, our country is in need of matching doctors to the right opportunities, and our team is working around the clock to keep our data clean, job targeting algorithms optimized, and physician recruiters supported by our team of expert Client Success Managers who are working to ensure our clients utilize these tools to the fullest.

How else can we help?
We’ll keep doing everything we can to help you. These ideas came from our clinician members and our recruitment partners. What else can we do? Any and all ideas welcome. Let us know: What can we do to help?
